WS22 course “Ein Hocker in zwei Wochen” by Prof. Andreas Kramer: Designing a Stool with the Theme “Balance”
I got inspiration from a Korean traditional instrument called “Janggu.” The stool features a circular sitting space connected to the base, which consists of two rings of different sizes, using expander straps. This design enhances stability for the user because the semicircle placed under the seat helps maintain balance when sitting. The stool is built using 3D modeling and a CNC machine.
